Karma?

One thing after another: I get an upper respiratory tract infection, I voluntarily get a tooth pulled, then right after that, I get into a car accident. Karma hit me in the ass hard, if I ever did anything to anyone that was unfair.

Maybe bad things just happen to good people. I don't know. I am going back to work today. My neck is still really sore. I will take my muscle relaxer as well as some naproxen sodium to get me through the day.

After work I shall do my laundry and pick up my other meds. I have to request time off of work for March 24, 2009 because I have an appointment that day. Oh well. I'll do that when I get to work. OFf to start my day.

Who's Happy?

Notice how nobody ever cares if you're happy, but only if you're sad? That's odd to me. It's as if being sad is the most important thing. When you're happy that's normal. Not for me it's not. I'm average. I feel average, I don't feel wonderful. I feel tired right now, and blah. It's okay though becuase it's Friday, and I can feel blah over the weekend before I take my midterm on Sunday. Wish me luck. I'm at work. I get off in 2.25 hours. Yay.

Habitat for Humanity

Well I attended Habitat for Humanity volunteer event on Friday of last week. I helped build a house for a family in need. The house was in Durham off of Jackson street. It was interesting.

I'm not sick anymore. I just have a little sinus congestion, but I can handle that easier than with my chest hurting and sore throat. I was able to hit my thumb five times with a hammer and get a blister on my right forefinger from holding the hammer. It was still so much fun to actually work for 8 hours instead of answering phones.

They provided food. I had a bagel for breakfast and a turkey sandwich for lunch. It was yummy.

A lot of progress was made and I'm happy to be a part of that. Off to work tomorrow. Yay.
